On foot or by bike, for beginners or experienced, this large discovery area is dedicated to hiking enthusiasts. Departing from Mornant, numerous circuits run through the hilly countryside, villages, forests, and invite you to stroll or more sporty outings. Enjoy exceptional views of the Alps or the Lyon region.

But if Lyon is often popular in terms of tourism, the Monts du Lyonnais are not to be outdone! For example, you will find the Saint Vincent chapel in St Laurent d’Agny, the old town de Montagny, the convent of La Tourette… If you like hiking, set off to discover the 4 Roman aqueducts, which supplied Lugdunum with water during the Gallo-Roman era.

The famous “bouchons lyonnais” will offer you the rosette of Lyon, the nantua quenelles, the sapeur’s apron and the hot sausage. On the sweet side, the praline tart and the bugnes are absolutely worth trying!
